Who needs a getaway car?
It strikes me that in the "right" hands the GEV exploration vehicle could be a wonderful asset for criminal mayh-... um, special operations. However it's not clear if this can actually fly into space from the ground (there is mention of it operating in space but I'm not sure if that refers to it as a flying vehicle or something to deploy into space). Can anyone clarify? Thanks.

"it contains a small metallic hydrogen engine that allow it to maneuver in space with an acceleration of up to 0.1 G." compare this to the "escaping gravity wells" table on 347, and you will find that your GEV pilots will be sad campers unless theyre trying to launch from pluto. :( cant even get off luna. now if you straped on a booster, all bets are off. and really, what criminal (err, adventuring party) wouldnt have some emergency boosters taking up their cargo space?

The vehicle and weapons section were the only part that disappointed me in the book. Is it to much to ask for a little mech battle in between the cyber/investigative/horror parts of the game? I also wish the ships have prices or at least availabilities. Stats would be helpful too if only for the lols when the Ultimate pulls out his custom/gm modded missile launcher and downs a hypercorp transport. Uggh heavy weapons... must a man beg?
