Untitled, an anti-faction

Talk show host Gene Tsang: I've noticed that your movement seems to attract a lot of people alienated by the extremes of various other factions, such as bioconservatives who are in favor of some degree of augmentation-
Alice Sunlight, Official Unofficial Leader of Untitled: That kind of "the truth is in the middle" bullshit has no place in Untitled's ideology.
Gene Tsang: Could you tell me a little about that ideology?
Alice Sunlight: You'd like that, wouldn't you? You reporters are always asking questions, always trying to get a scoop out of people.
Gene Tsang: *chuckles* Just doing my job.
Alice Sunlight: Do you know how many atrocities have been excused with those words?
Gene Tsang: Did you...did you just compare me to the Nazis?
Alice Sunlight: Nazi comparisons are explicitly counter to the doctrine of Untitled. Also, your hair looks stupid.

Untitled

(AKA The Nortonites, the Unpopular Front, the Order of Costanza, and numerous other names)

So, I was trying to come up with a new faction, but realized I couldn't really think if a compelling ideology or set of guiding principles. So why not work with that, and make a group guided primarily by pointless anger- the ultimate rebels-without-a-cause. Untitled is a loose coalition of people dissatisfied with various other factions for reasons they can't articulate.

Untitled has no doctrine, no agenda, no plans, and no ideology, but every member vehemently insists that they do. The movement is fueled entirely by impotent rage, willful ignorance, and confusion, all resources in ample supply.

The group's constant hostility and ambiguity, of course, have earned it a fair degree of mistrust and suspicion, which it encourages. In fact, many in the movement react with anger to attempts at praise- the academics and theorists who throw around phrases like "anti-meme" and "ultimate counterculture" are greeted with scorn from the organization, not so much due to any kind of anti-intellectualism as due to a general anger at the universe in general.

The organization has a lot of potential for bluffing and Bavarian Fire Drills- almost anything can be claimed as "official Untitled business" or "an important tenet of Untitled doctrine", and most people assume that the organization must be up to something. The movement's founder, a pod named Alice Sunlight, is also a very colorful figure. She lives a predominately reclusive lifestyle, but periodically emerges to release interviews or long diatribes on various subjects, such as her hatred for every other faction and political bloc and which plants she thinks are bullshit. Secretly, she's a fairly withdrawn and subdued person who uses her ranting curmudgeon persona to blow off steam, and spends most of her time reading or browsing the mesh using low-tech interfaces that obscure her identity.

This amuses me far more then

This amuses me far more then it should, as it reminds me of plenty of things I have encountered before, just not to this level.

During the fall, humanity received a grim reminder, We lived in fear of the T.I.T.A.N.S and were disgraced to live in these cages we called Habitats.
