Carrying Capacity or lifting
First I must say I really like this game it's great my question is is there a table for lifting and carry capacity?

It's kinda hard to make a table for that. Mostly because there is no strength atribute. But also because gravity or 'percieved gravity' is different depending on where you're at. So basicaly if there was a strength atribute you'd have to make several tables for lifting capacity. If the amount a character can lift becomes an issue it's best to play it by ear on a case to case basis. You could use the SOM atribute to determine how much your character could lift depending on the local gravity but you might want to take into account the type of morph the character is useing for the attempt. As to carying; Most often the character is going to be in a gravity much less than that of earth. Meaning that even the weakest of characters will be able to haul around and maneuver a mass that is surprisingly large. I would more often determin the limits of carrying based on the Volume and how cumbersome it is to move something that large. Of course you have to play that by ear depending on the dencity or how compact the item[s] are. I realize this has been no help answering your question but it's not a mechanic that should come up often.

Mea Culpa: My mode of speech can make others feel uninvited to argue or participate. This is the EXACT opposite of what I intend when I post.

There is no such table. The gear chapter has a note saying there's no fixed rules for carrying capacity - and also that many items are conveniently small and made of high-tech lightweight materials. Frankly, carrying capaicity rules only exist to give GMs a weapon against players trying to carry twelve rocket launchers in each hand. Whether you're a GM or a player, use common sense. The game will run smoother because of it.

Thanks everyone for your comments it was just that we had to characters in the group goofing off I guess and decided to engage in a ridiculous grappling contest one a Neo-Homid and the other a Slitheroid and the Neo-Homid wanted to know it he could dead lift the Slitheroid and toss him aside the gravity on the station is standard like Earth's and the GM didn't really know what to really do and he just wing it but thanks for your comments.

Carrying Capacity is a pretty easy thing for GM's. If it seems possible then it is. If it seems impossible, it is. If you don't know, it's a SOM x 3 test. JoS.
