Bump in the Night Battlemap
I'm running Bump in the Night this weekend for my players, and as I have made some paper figurines for my players I decided that they would need a map for the final battle. However the provided map doesn't expand to poster size nicely as it is full of dark colours and such. So I made a new one using Adam's map as a template. To fully take advantage of it you'll need Bump in the Night. Get it here for a list of downloads. Enjoy

Re: Bump in the Night Battlemap
Little question: the lower levels on the Pavarti's outside view seem to be flat, on the outside view picture Does it mean it's open to the atmosphere? or just a mall like (opposed to 0g hives) structure inside the plateform?

I guess I had better put up the graphic we're discussing. http://i562.photobucket.com/albums/ss64/kindalas/EP%20Stuff/PavartiFinal... The way I envision it is that some of the buildings are sealed, while the rest are open to Venus' atmosphere. The reason for it is because in the Adventure there is a mention that the big bad will try and lure the players outside for an ambush. So when I made the graphic I decided it would be best to lave large external sections exposed to the outside to help make it seem normal to say "meet up on platform 3, sector 7"

I agree that the building are sealed my question is, are the plateforms those building are built upon flat, or are they hollow with, say 2-3 floors and commerces (though knowing the kind of activities taking place on Pav', I barely dare imagine what those must be selling!) or factories

I know I didn't draw it that way but I'd say that there are 2-3 cramped floors in the disks themselves, mostly power relays, pipes, life support and subway like tunnels leading to the core of the aerostat. The core would actually be a couple of very open levels, with buildings inside, like the dome area, but not as prestigious. And they would actually be build much like the cities of earth, to reflect nostalgia, but with each level from the top, dome area, being more and more cramped. So think of it as say 4 cities stacked upon one another, with everything from 20 story "sky scrapers" to bungalows all packed in. With only the top city getting real sunlight and a proper view. And I'd have the spire mostly solid below the first disk, which is spill over habitation, and then the bottom disk being aerostat maintenance industry space. I should really do a proper writeup for the fanzine.

Re: Bump in the Night Battlemap
I could see the alternate opening to Avatar taking place in one of those plateforms with holo ads on the ceiling and a buzzing activity like in Akihabara (or, considering this is Pavarti we're talking about, like Shinjuku's red lantern district Kabuki Cho) funny thing, the aerostat I've created for my game (and in extension, graphic novel) is like a mix of Bollywood and Sundance, the venusian rival/indie version of Mars' Elysium, and I called it...Padma.
