I was just wondering if there was any word on how armor works, doseit reduce damage or make you harder to hit?
This is purely speculation but I would say that it reduces damage. I base my assumption on how damage is dealt in similar way as in Earthdawn and in the said game armor also reduces damage instead of getting harder to hit.
Given this "Five for the Future" article, perhaps a bit of both http://www.technovelgy.com/ct/Science-Fiction-News.asp?NewsNum=2142
It just reduces damage.

Unfortunately this armor idea came out after the core book text was finalized, but we'll definitely have to include something like this in a rules supplement.
Actually it would be interesting to see how the dodging armor works when there is incoming fire from multiple directions.
I think it would open the door to an actual version of 'gun kata' ala Equilibrium. Haveing a place to start from would put you into a better position to allow for the unexpected and uncontrolable movements. Computer code for safety features is also needed so it dosen't snap any bones.
