Just curious if anyone has heard any word about when the next patch/version of singularity will be released?
indeed Husky. even an update on how much of the bug report you have chewed through would be great
When Singularity was in development, the silence was deafening. What makes you think we'll suddenly hear about in-progress patches now?
I, for one, am not even convinced there will be a patch.
Thermonuclear Banana Split - A not-really-weekly Eclipse Phase campaign journal.
I'm going to be pretty unhapopy if there isn't. Character creators are usually free fan made programs. For a paid program I was expecting this to at least in time become a premier example of a character creator. it's nice right now, but it doesn't support a lot of the freedom you can do in eclipse phase. basic stuff like multiple morphs. The data file could have been easier to edit and add to as well.
and bugs need fixing. I'm using the fan made data file fix for some of the simple fixes like giving furies the augments they should have.
I'm confident they won't just abandon this program, It would just be nice to hear something.
I'm curious about this as well. :\
Ditto on this, just an acknolegement of "we're working on it" and a very loose ETA would be fine :)
While I can't give an ETA at the moment, we are working on some updates!

Awesome! Thanks :)
Although I am aware the definition of insanity, I nevertheless feel compelled to inquire as to the status of that forthcoming update.
As I said numerous times during development, any updates at all would be appreciated. It's well known that complex tasks always require more time than anticipated, and there are few tasks more complex than programming and debugging software. Nevertheless, I think I speak for everyone here when I say we'd be quite content with an occasional progress report. Not a firm deadline, not even an ETA - just a progress report.
We'll have an update posted for Singularity on April 3rd. Thanks for your support!
Looking forward to it. Thanks for letting us know.

Just FYI, the download links in the Files tab of My Account (i.e. Linux - Update 09032014, Win 7 - Update 09032014 and Mac OS X - Update 09032014) take you to an eponymous Page not found.
The last version I downloaded was release 08242014.
I suppose that's due to the upcoming update ?
Just downloaded it.
The files are indeed up, in advance of a formal announcement tomorrow.

I didn't see the new stuff from Firewall in the update? Or did I miss them?
I haven't seen any Firewall additions either.
A new update, and I STILL can't make Infolife asyncs?
Guess I'm sticking to self-typed character sheets for now.
Transhumans will one day be the Luddites of the posthuman age.
Help me get my gaming fix, if you want.
No, this update doesn't include new data from Firewall. That will be included in the next update. The final version of Firewall hasn't gone to press yet (and thus the final text isn't yet available), and we really wanted to get a bug fix release out in the meantime.

How do I go about updating the program? (sorry I bought it when it first came out but just joined to forum tonight.)
you just download a complete new copy from where you did originally
