I've never understood if creative commons license allows free download of the manuals, or if they must be bought.

Sorry for this dumb question!

Re: Free downloads?

All currently released Eclipse Phase products, including the core rulebook and supplements, are freely available online for download. It doesn't matter how you go about getting them, torrents, direct links, someone handing you a thumb drive. If you find it online you can legally download it with no repercussions.

If you need download links too any of the currently released material, asking on these forums will normally get you one. They can quite easily be found on places like The Pirate Bay and Demonoid as well.

While what Codebreaker says is true, please do buy the products if you can Smile The professionals who make these books do rely on book sales for their income, and if the books don't sell, they will have to move on to something else.

(However, if you can't buy the books because you're a poor student, or you want to try before you buy, or whatever, that's precisely why they're available for free as well.)

yes: I'm a poor student! Sad

I'm sorry for not buying the EP's manuals, cause they are awesome and people who have worked on them should be payed for their excellent job!
But I don't have enough money...

I'd need to find "Ego hunter" adventure and "the stars our destination" supplement: do you know where I can find them?

Both should be seeded on Demonoid. PS+ seems to focus most of their seeding there.

It does. In fact, the developers make the .pdf files available on their personal websites.

The gaming materials of Eclipse Phase were published under a Creative Commons By Attribution/Noncommercial/Share-Alike, meaning that you can freely use and share the materials so long as Posthuman Studios is attributed, you cannot use or share the materials for commercial purposes, and whatever you work Eclipse Phase material into must be released under the same license (though I do not think this applies to attribution or quoting small parts in articles, such as papers, reviews, because that falls under (whatever is left of) USian fair use laws and academic footnoting and citation standards).
