A video about evolution that feels rather appropriate to EP. Besides, those hand-creatures are probably what biodesigners make in an empty afternoon to delight their podlings.

The guy's a master with Combustion (I assume that's the program he uses), and loves his G Major chords. There's some excellent displays of just how terrifying and discordant that chord can make things. There's even a Know Your Meme page for it, because of how popular that tactic is.

Re: Evolution
Time for some cute and fuzzy exsurgents! They are only a "hello, there" message...
And then a herd of LOLcats storms the local mesh meowing a basilisk hack...
"I CAN HAZ TEMPRAL LOBEZ?"

I see your fingers and raise you some cows.
Speaking of evolution and genegineering, it'd be interesting to see probabilistic evolution programs, especially when you can create accurate simulspace conditions, real genetic codes, and so forth. You could design a program to take in the proper data (such as random mutation rates, accidental death risks, natural disaster rates, etc.) and build your own little world that essentially turns life into a math equation. Run the calculations for a thousand generations, then check back in. The random nature of the mutation rates and the natural selection that occurs could allow you to watch eons of evolution play out in a matter of days. More interestingly, you could then create simulspaces based on these eras.
Best of all, you could even recreate them entirely inside habitats, as you'd have actual DNA to work with. It might even lead to accidental discoveries, as well as possibly being adapted for use in biotech labs.
