Absolutely! We have several more printed books in the work, even more electronic-only titles on the go, and we're working on converting our electronic titles into more formats as well. Plenty of stuff going on behind the scenes for Eclipse Phase right now, to be on store shelves later this year!

As always, Quincey, when we have news and announcements, we'll post them. Smile

Rimward is a Q1 2012 release at this point.

This was posted in September... is it still true?

Since the original DeGenesis Team let the game more or less slide, i don't expect much about it.

Hopefully, this will change, but i had this hope for the last few years.
Another possibility would be, that DeGenesis wanders fully to PHS, but thats much more improbable.

That would be a shame since the English translation is done with the Primer Edition.

Well I got a mail from Posthuman Studios that there would be news of release and info in the beginning of this year, and though we technically still are in the beginning I can't help but feel a bit distraught (with nothing happening on http://degenesisrpg.com and all).

Heh Amazon lists Rimward as being available on Eclipse Feb 15, 2012, but I don't think that is highly likely.

I am bit worried since we haven't heard about it for some time now...

Amazon recently changed that, it was listed as a 12th of Feb release. Never trust amazon dates.

We are very busy, but no projects in the pipeline have been cancelled.

Remember, as always: we prefer to be working as opposed to talking about things we SHOULD be working on. Wink

I think the internet has ruined Fandom patience. Dev blogs, Tweets and Facebook have spoiled us. As fans on a regular basis we scour social sites, forums and browsers for any mention of our favorite games and writers. I think updates help keep fans feeling engaged and involved on the edge of there seats for the next release. (Not that rabid fans don't do that without regular info.)
Companies vary but a majority have a regular info schedule regarding their product and releases. (Even if not mentioning dates.) Monthly, Weekly or in case of at least one company daily info. PS for the most part has a total blackout policy till release dates can be mentioned.

So please forgive us the Fan for being persistent when seeking info even in the face of repeated explanations of policy.

On a side note EP is a quality product that shows how much work does go into it. I think I speak for all EP fans when I say we do appreciate that.

I definitely want to echo that. I've seen plenty of products ruined by 'rushing to the shipping date'. I'd rather wait a little longer, thank you Smile

And not to toot my own horn (toot toot!) but don't forget we are still getting fresh EP content via The Eye. Please feel free to pitch the "I'd really like to see this" that way and we will see what we can do.

And we are all active blogging, tweeting, posting to Facebook, G+, etc ... "ruining fandom patience" Smile in that respect. We just have a list of things we don't talk about until we have formal information about them, and one of them is release dates. Because it benefits _nobody_ to build hype about something that doesn't have a distinct "it's available on X" date attached to it.

It would be bonzo-gonzo awesome if we could manage a release schedule where announcements and releases were predictably timed (A book a quarter, an electronic release a month, for example) but we aren't there yet. Until then, there will be periods of quiet, while we're busy working, and then there will be periods of announcements/previews/etc. when all that hard work pays off.

We are in an _unusually_ long period of quiet, as our workloads have all changed, in part due to our parting ways with Sandstorm last year, and in part due to the ebbs and flows of our personal lives. We are only two full-timers, after all. Smile

I seem to recall that White Wolf used to try to put hard release dates on books and sometimes they would make them and sometimes they would not make it. It just made people crazy, so they stopped putting release dates one some books. I don't blame you guys at all, even if everything is lined up I can imagine that even with a release date, things can go wrong as well. I'm just glad you guys are putting books out period.

Only two full time developers? I thought you guys had a three man team.

Brian is only part-time, as he has another full-time job. He's still involved in all the decision-making, but he's not able to write/edit as much as we'd like right now.

Tis true, I'm only half the man (dev?) that Adam and Rob are. But I still try!

(To clarify I'm a full time tenure line professor of Criminology and Sociology so between teaching, service requirements, and research there is no way I could be considered anything close to full time for Posthuman)

Is there a blurb somewhere for Rimward? Amazon's page for it doesn't go into any details. >.>
