"Caprica" as inspiration for EP

Caprica has a number of things in it that are applicable to EP
1. Virtual rave clubs - the club that they show in particular has everything from sex to people being killed for entertainment.
2. The early stages of digitizing humans takes place.
3. And then downloading them into the first "cylon" bodies, aka "toasters."
4. Recreating people into digital form from what is effectively lifeblogs.
5. The question of whether these digital people are really people.

I so dig that series!
it's a great show, with many inspiration for EP.
I would think it'd be a good setting for a pre-fall flashback.
the New Cap City mmo is a great show for a Simulspace, too, with Tamara Adama as one of the first Informorph (Zoe is more of a Fork or an AGI, imho. Maybe even a Seed AI)
Serge could be an interresting Muse given a Synth morph. Have you read his Twitter? it's really funny and quite informing too.
For exemple, from what it's said in several tweets, he knew that Zoe was in the U87 robot, and has been conversing wit her.
that would also explain why neither Daniel or Amana realized how the bed was really broken, and put it on the account of the feds' invasion, sorry, I mean investigation.
Both Zoe and Tamara are AGI's coded to mimic people who were previously alive. Zoe supposedly created a program that would search for information about the life of someone on the net and piece together memories to create an intelligence based on whoever's memories were targeted.
That said, the series is quite interesting. I am very intrigued by how it might pan out, and how long it will go for.
Spoiler alert: the robots go TITAN on them.
